Twitter Buys TweetDeck

So, this is official, Twitter has acquired TweetDeck. The rumor of Twitter buying TweetDeck was flying in the air for a long time. Now, Twitter has finally announced that it has acquired TweetDeck, one of the most widely used third-party Twitter applications. The price on which Twitter bought TweetDeck has not been disclosed yet. According to some reports, the price is around $40 million which, in my opinion is very huge for TweetDeck.

“This acquisition is an important step forward for us, TweetDeck provides brands, publishers, marketers and others with a powerful platform to track all the real-time conversations they care about.” said by Dick Costolo(Twitter CEO). The rumors of course were going on from a long time but this news was made official when Dick Costolo himself posted about this news on Twitter Blog.

Microsoft Buys Skype for $8.5 Billion

Rumors from the last few days were that Facebook would buy Skype but Microsoft rose and bought Skype for a price of $8.5 Billion. It is the largest price Microsoft has paid for a company in a decade. After the acquisition, Bates will take on the title of president of the Microsoft Skype Division and report directly to Ballmer.

Now, that Microsoft has acquired Skype, how will it change Skype is the question. According to some reports, Microsoft has planned to integrate Skype into Microsoft devices and systems such as Xbox and Kinect, Xbox Live, the Windows Phone, Lync and Outlook. Now, you might see some video ads in Skype.

Google- The planned buyer

Hi friends,
Google is one among the world's biggest web companies today. There are lots and lots of Google services which we cant avoid in today's world. These services cant be replaced by anyone else easily. But the real truth is that, Google is a planned buyer rather than a developer. Yeah, it is. Most of the user-fondly services of Google were launched by other web companies and when those services became successful and well-developed, Google just snatched it away from them. I am not criticizing Google on this aspect, even though I'm just bringing this into your notice. Let me prove it with examples...

1. Blogger: Blogger is one among the most used services from Google. Blogger is a free blog hosting platform which allows users to start their own blog without even a penny.

In August 23, 1999, Blogger was launched by Pyra Labs. As one of the earliest dedicated blog-publishing tools, it is credited for helping popularize the format. In February 2003, Pyra Labs was acquired by Google under undisclosed terms. The acquisition allowed premium features (for which Pyra had charged) to become free and the credit goes to Google for this step.

2. Picasa: Picasa is an image organizer and image viewer for organizing and editing digital photos, plus an integrated photo-sharing website.

Picasa was originally created by Idealab and owned by Google since 2004.

3. FeedBurner: Feedburner is a web feed management provider launched in 2004. FeedBurner provides custom RSS feeds and management tools to bloggers, podcasters, and other web-based content publishers. Maybe One among every 3 bloggers use this service.

On June 3, 2007, FeedBurner was acquired by Google Inc., for a rumored price of $100 million. One month later, two of their popular PROservices (MyBrand and TotalStats) were made free to all users.

Google Ad-sense Mafia- Stronger and Larger

Reposted on May 4th
Hi friends,
Google's Adsense is of the most reputed Ad providers and managers powered by Google. It is neither easy nor difficult to grab an pproved adsense account. Sometimes you have to wait for a pretty long time for an account to be approved. Besides the time lag there are a set of rules, regulations and minimum standards for your blog or site to be accepted.

Here comes the role of Adsense Resellers. Wondering what? Yes Adsense resellers! They're just taking off all the mess and getting you 100% genuine Adsense accounts. Site standards or the rules does not matter. And the maximum time for an account to get approved is just 2 days! Now a days such resellers are very common and can be easily found. But isn't it illegal? Yes, they're charging about 40-50$ while Google does not charge for this service. Thus its an illegal transaction indeed.

Here is my conversation with such a reseller:
